Dear Parents,
Welcome to a new school year! We have 28 new children joining us this term and we know you will help us make new families and children to Liberty Primary School feel very welcome.
Our topic this term is ‘People who help us.’ We will be finding out about how our families, friends and people in the local community help us.
Don’t forget the new times for our nursery sessions from 9 am to 12 am and 12.30 pm to 3.30 pm.
Dates for your diary this term:
Wednesday 9th September Current children return to nursery.
Thursday 10th September – Friday 18th September New children start
4 o’clock Thursday 24th September Nursery Curriculum meeting.
14th October Family Learning Day
Half term Monday 26th October – Friday 30th October
Termly trip and arrangements for end of term to be announced later in the term.
Reminders:
Please label all clothing as a number of sweatshirts, hats and gloves went missing last year.
Please return any borrowed items of clothing as last term we were running short of underwear and bottoms!!!
If you haven’t done so already, please bring in a photo of your child for their coat peg.
Please try to arrive and depart promptly from nursery and close all gates behind you to make sure all children are safe.
Resources needed:
Boxes, tubes and tubs etc. for junk modeling
Lids, lolly sticks, corks, feathers, large beads, glass beads, ribbon etc.
We would also be grateful for a contribution of a box of tissues and £1.00 towards the cost of play dough and cooking ingredients for this term.
We always value your support so if you have a problem or you would like to help in the Nursery, please speak to a member of staff.
