Sport at Liberty

Liberty Primary School

Physical education plays a vital role in children's development and growth. At Liberty Primary School we aim high to provide physical activity throughout the school day. We provide 100% of the children in our school with 2 hours of PE a week and we aim to provide as many opportunities for children to receive an additional 3rd hour as well, through after hours clubs and lunch time activities.

In Key Stage One children develop their fundamental movement skills and in Key Stage Two the children progress towards using these skills within set games, learning the rules and how to play as a team. They will also continue to work on improving their dance routines and movements as well as advancing to using a full range of apparatus during gymnastic lessons.
