Admissions

Parents/carers should refer to Merton council's website for the admissions criteria (see link below) and the Merton school admissions team can be contacted on 020 8274 4906.

Nursery

Children start nursery in the September, January or April following their third birthday. Nursery applications must be made online to Merton school admissions (see link below).  Once a place has been accepted parents/carers will be invited to visit the school and meet the Nursery staff who will explain the settling in process.

30 hours free childcare

We currently offer a limited number of 30 hour free childcare places. These are offered on a first come, first served basis. Please contact the school office for availability or further information.

How do you apply for the 30 hours free childcare?

You can apply for the 30-hour scheme on the government website https://www.gov.uk/30-hours-free-childcare

If you are eligible you will be sent a code for 30 hours free childcare. You must bring this code to the school office along with your National Insurance number and child's date of birth. Once we have verified your code, you will be offered a place (subject to availability).

Reception

Children are admitted to Reception in the September following their fourth birthday. Applications must be made online to Merton school admissions (see link below). Offers are sent out to parents in the April prior to entry. Once a place has been accepted parents/carers will be invited to visit the school and meet the Reception staff who will explain the settling in process. The deadline for submitting applications is at the beginning of January.

Admissions to secondary schools 

Full details on how to apply to secondary schools are provided on Merton council's website. The deadline for submitting applications for September is at the end of October.
